Electric-flight and Airbus — nobody would have put these words in the same context just 10 years ago. Electric flight was something belonging in the books of the French science-fiction writer Jules Verne but not in the direct context to one major commercial airplane manufacturer based in Verne's country. In only eight years the e-flight movement has dramatically gained momentum and Airbus has become a sort of a pacesetter in this fast-growing field which is almost daily changing and is for some traditional aviators simply confusing.
