The 8SFD2 model series pumps provide higher flow and pressure capabilities to Haskel's current 8-hp pump line. Pumps of various sizes are employed dependent on jack tonnage. Jacks currently using hand or electric pumps can be easily retrofitted. For more information visit www.haskel.com. Blackhawk tool line Blackhawk by Proto has added 525 items to its mechanic's tool line, bringing the total offering to nearly 1,600. The additions range from ratchets and socket sets to screwdrivers, pliers, and wrench- es. Added features include tri- material, composite tool grips that are cushioned for more comfort; and larger, laser etched markings that are easier for the technician to read. Some of the new tools also have features designed to minimize foreign object damage (FOD) to equipment. Piece counts range from 22 to 1,170 tools. The ratchet comes with an ergo- nomically designed handle and is available in standard and quick release versions. Each of the line's new 4Box ratcheting wrenches will accommodate four sizes of fasteners rather than two. That is because each side of the wrench's two heads fits a different size fas- tener. The tools are backed with a limited lifetime warranty. For more information call (800) 800-TOOL or visit www.stanleyproto.com. Bio-based Pump repair kit Viking Pumps are designed to be easy to repair, and that process is even simpler with genuine repair parts kits, which are now avail- able. Two kits are available for each size and material of pump. Seal Kits include everything needed to do a complete seal and bearing replacement. Rebuild Kits include parts commonly needed for a complete wet-end rebuild. Each kit includes an exploded diagram and parts lists, with a link to the pump's technical ser- vice manual. Formulated for manual or immer- sion cleaning, it is selected when a bio-based solvent with fast drying, excellent solvency, and low surface residue is required. It is also selected due to its low volatility or vapor pressure. It removes hard-to-clean soils such as adhesive residues, buffing and polishing compounds, corrosion inhibiting compounds (CICs), cosmoline, greases, hydraulic flu- ids, silicone, and waxes.
